Construction Update - York Road, Leamington Spa

Unity Architects’ conservation project on York Road, Leamington Spa is progressing on site.

The ground beam and cantilevered posts have been erected. A further wind beam is to be installed at the head of the frame.

Collectively, the steel provides adequate vertical and horizontal resistance for what has been conceived as a free-standing ‘garden wall,’ that is only to be touched lightly by structural glazing.

Below you can see the original vision of Unity Architects and the level of design we are seeking to establish.

We’re looking forward to seeing further development of what will be an exemplary addition to the Leamington Spa Conservation Area.
